Genesis 1.11

Hebrew: And God said, "Let the earth sprout vegetation: seed-bearing plants, fruit trees of every kind on earth that bear fruit with the seed in it." And it was so.

Greek: And God said, "Let the earth sprout forth grass of the field, which produces seeds according to its kind and according to its likeness on the earth. And it happened so.

Old Latin: And God said, "Let the earth bring forth the nourishing crops, seedbearing according to their kind and their likeness, and the fruit tree bearing its fruit, containing within itself its own seed according to its likeness upon the earth." And so it was done.

Vulgate: And God said, let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so.

Peshitta: And God said let the earth bring forth green plants, the herbs which propagate by seed according to its genus. and fruit-trees which produce fruit according to their genus by which he will adorn it on the earth. And it was so.

• Onkelos: And God said, "Let the earth bring forth vegetation, plants whose seed can be sown and fruittrees producing fruit according to their kind, whose seed is in it, upon the earth," and it was so.

• Neophyti: And the Memra of the Lord said: "Let the earth put forth herbage of grass which produces seed, a fruit tree which yields fruit according to its kind, whose shoots are from it and in it upon the earth." And it was so according to his Memra.

• PS. Jonathan: God said, "Let the earth grow vegetation, plants whose seed is sown, and fruit trees that produce fruit in which is their seed, each according to its kind, upon the earth." And it was so.
