Hebrew: God said, "Let there be lights in the expanse of the sky to separate day from night; they shall serve as signs for the set times--the days and the years;

Greek: And God said, "Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven for the illumination of the earth, to divide between the day and between the night and let them be for signs for seasons and days and years

Old Latin: And God said, "Let there be lights in the firmament of heaven to shine upon the earth, to establish day and night, and to divide day and night; let them serve as signs for the fixing of times, of days, and of years;
