Information on Information (Electronic and Otherwise)
Included here is a list of materials that you may find useful
for your work in the class. These relate to issues of hypermedia,
of editing theory (general), and electronic editing. There are as
well, of course, materials relating to the PRB Movement and to the
Victorian context of that movement. These materials
are located locally (at UVA) and also at remote sites that can be
accessed electronically.
From the UVa Library:
From the Institute for Advanced Technology in the Humanities:
Jerome McGann: Electronic Essays and Projects in Editing and Text Theory
Other Electronic Resources:
These resources take up more general matters relating to electronic textuality and communication. They
supply a global context for the procedural imaginations that stand behind much of the work in this
class.
The materials here are best accessed through Mosaic/Netscape.
